LITZA draws from a Mesoamerican name and reflects our commitment to bringing clarity through language while honoring the diverse communities we serve.
Founded on May 5, 2025, by two longtime friends, a Spanish interpreter and an ASL interpreter, LITZA was created with a shared vision to provide interpreting services grounded in care, professionalism, and cultural understanding.
Language access is more than a service, it's a responsibility.
As a Latina-owned agency, we provide interpreting and translation services across hospitals, classrooms, courtrooms, and conferences. Every encounter is an opportunity to bridge cultures, build trust, and ensure clear communication.
We know that words carry weight. Clear communication can shape outcomes, protect dignity, and connect people in meaningful ways. At LITZA, we don’t just interpret – we honor voices.
It begins with understanding the people we serve and the context of each encounter.
We match each request with the appropriate interpreter or translator and approach every interaction with care, accuracy, and respect — guided by professional standards every step of the way.

Lucero Perez is the co-founder of Litza Language Services and a professional Spanish interpreter with over ten years of experience supporting families, medical providers, lawyers, and educators across community, educational, medical, and legal settings.
What began as a way to help her parents navigate language barriers has grown into a commitment to give back to her community. While her work began by interpreting for her family, Lucero was also driven by a desire to ensure her community has the opportunity to be heard and recognized as whole individuals. She values accuracy, ethics, and confidentiality in every encounter, and continuously works to strengthen her skills, cultural competence, and advocacy for meaningful language access.
Artemis Poarch is the co-founder of Litza Language Services and a professional American Sign Language interpreter with over five years of experience supporting Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing individuals, families, patients, students, and professionals across medical, educational, conference, and community settings.
Introduced to sign language early in life through her parents, who met while learning ASL, Artemis developed a deep respect for the language and the Deaf community that later grew into a career centered on communication access and connection. She approaches her work with care and professionalism, grounded in a strong commitment to ethics, and accountability. Artemis prioritizes professional development and actively engages in organizing, learning from, and connecting with the interpreting community to support both personal and collective growth.
We commit to clear communication, careful preparation, and follow-through in every encounter — so language is never a barrier to understanding.
